Retirement visas (Non-OA, Non-OX, LTR)

If you are 50 or over, the Non-Immigrant OA retirement visa requires 800,000 THB in a Thai bank or 65,000 THB monthly income. We also handle the 10-year Non-OX and the Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa, prepare the financial evidence, and manage annual extensions at Koh Samui Immigration.

Business, marriage and family visas

We arrange Non-B business visas and work permits for company owners and employees, marriage (Non-O) visas for spouses of Thai nationals, ED education visas, and dependent visas for your family — including the underlying documentation from your Thai company or family registration.

Ongoing compliance: 90-day reports & TM30

Staying legal is not just about the visa. We handle your 90-day address reports, TM30 residence notifications, re-entry permits and extension deadlines, and keep a calendar of your obligations so nothing lapses.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Visa & Immigration — FAQ

What visa do I need to retire in Koh Samui?

The Non-Immigrant OA retirement visa is the most common, requiring 800,000 THB in a Thai bank or 65,000 THB monthly income if you are 50 or older. The Non-OX and LTR visas are longer-term alternatives. Jariya prepares the full application.

Do I have to do 90-day reporting myself?

You can, but many expats prefer us to handle it. We file your 90-day address reports and TM30 notifications on time and track every immigration deadline for you.

Can I work in Thailand on a retirement visa?

No. A retirement visa does not permit work. To work legally you need a Non-B visa and a work permit, which we can arrange through your Thai company.
